@preschoolvibes: Celebrate Lemonade Day in our preschool! We started the day by diving into three of my favorite books about lemonade, each one adding a splash of fun and flavor to our learning. Following the stories, the students participated in a lively lemonade taste test, choosing between pink and yellow lemonade. After making their selections, each child placed their name tag on our classroom graph. During this activity, I introduced vocabulary such as "tally," "total," "compare," and the concepts of "more," "most," "least" to help them understand graphing and comparison. After voting, each student received a bracelet labeled "Team Pink" or "Team Yellow," aligning with their lemonade choice. For snack time, we ventured outside where cups of lemonade—pink or yellow—awaited at different tables. The children sat at the spot that matched the color of their bracelet, immersing themselves in a real-world application of their earlier choice and reinforcing their understanding of preference and grouping. Join us for a day of delicious discoveries and learning how to express preferences, understand graphs, and enjoy teamwork!
