Details HERE👇🏽 “How do you strip the details and curves?” I am asked this all. the. time. The answer: with the right tools. This little table sat covered in plastic wrap for a week and the paint still came off with relative ease using a wire brush and 0000 steel wool. HOW 1. Brush/spray stripper 2. Cover in plastic wrap (this prevents it from drying out). How long you wait depends on the stripper. I actually left this for over a week. 🤦🏼‍♀️ It’s usually only a few hours. 3. Remove plastic wrap and brush with wire brush, removing as much finish as you can: 4. Spray stripper on 0000 steel wool and the furniture, and wipe off residue. Dunk the 0000 in soapy water to wipe up any residue or use a rag. Stripper Recs 1. QCS: my current go-to because it’s safe for people, pets and plants. It also works in 15 minutes (discount code: ShellyChic10) 2. GreenEZ: I’m new to this one, but it’s another “green” one. Works great, but needs to sit for several hours. 3. KleanStrip: I think this one works the best and fastest but I stopped using it because of its harsh chemicals #furnitureflip #furnituremakeover
