Chain tensioner failed. Jumped timing. Not real common but it's a part that should be replaced due to oil pressure does keep tensioner tight with it running. Key is regular oil changes.

those engines had a tsb for exhaust gear going bad and they are terrible engines too.

Hi when it’s a manual car you can lift it from one side put it in gear then try to move the wheel 🛞 if it’s stuck then it’s a chain cut that just save’s you time
