@foodwithgeorge: AD Pasta Bolognese cooked with the @Ninja Kitchen UK Ceramic Cookware range A perfect date night dish, made with the Ninja Ceramic range which has a dual-bonded ceramic coating that’s tough and durable for long lasting non-stick performance. As well as that the ceramic helps you cook healthier dishes using little to no oil. The pans are also oven safe up to 285 C and made all types of hobs. Recipe: Serves 4 Ingredients: ½ tablespoon olive oil ½ tablespoon unsalted butter ¾ pound minced beef ¾ pound minced pork 85 grams pancetta or smoked bacon 1 large onion, finely chopped 1 celery stalk, finely chopped 1 large carrot, finely chopped 2 ½ garlic cloves, finely chopped ½ cup white or red wine 1 cup chopped tomatoes 2 tablespoons tomato puree ½ cup milk ½ cup beef stock 250g Pasta Salt and Pepper to taste Method: In a large wide pan, heat the oil and butter over medium-high heat. When the butter is melted and bubbly, add the beef, pork, pancetta, salt, and pepper. Brown the meat, breaking it up as it cooks.Stir in the garlic and tomato puree, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Pour in the wine, stir, and let it cook and reduce slightly for about 3 minutes. Add the passata, milk, and stock, mixing well.Add the onion, celery, and carrots, mix well. Partially cover the pan and simmer for 2 hours, stirring often to prevent sticking. When the sauce is nearly done, cook your pasta in salted boiling water according to the package instructions. When the sauce is finished, taste and adjust the seasoning to your preference. Combine the sauce and pasta, then serve in a bowl topped with parmesan. Enjoy! #ninjaceramic

Bandy :
Gotta put that mirepoix in way earlier. No caramelization on the vegetables will no release its flavour.

Ain’t never seen someone out raw vegetables in the meat. First thing you do is caramelize the vegetables
