there are only 699 steps from top to bottom of Jacobs ladder in Edinburgh, but feels more like 700 from bottom to top. 🤣 walked them many times onto the mile. 😁

the amazing thing about Edinburgh is you can go somewhere and climb up hundreds of steps. Then return to where you started using the same steps but you still have to climb up them. 😳😅😅😅

Did a year of grad school in Edinburgh and my housing was by Holyrood so I had to climb up the Royal Mile incline to get to class - still feel the burn in my calfs 😮💨

Even living in Edinburgh I’d occasionally forget to plan my route to avoid steps and die on my way somewhere. It’s a great city and a great city for which to have a bus pass.
