Next time use a Mercedes plug you had threads in the back. Eco plugs are a of all else fails.

I've seen threads get ripped out of 2 separate (same day) longblock assemblies without ever getting near torque spec.

Looks like you should just run a tap through it make new threads for your new bolt you will be using

Used this on my 2012 bmw, previous owner stripped the threads. Added some red loctite on top of the green for added peace of mind, been 2k miles, holding up just fine
