We left that Saturday morning. I had a 5 week old baby and a 3 year old so I was motivated to leave. Went to Houston and never moved back. Still love the City! ❤️It will always be home.

I remember watching cnn at 14. I was in NY and felt so bad. My high school Mother Cabrini had a sister school(Cabrini HS)in NO and we would go on mission trips to help clean the school after Katrina.
