After getting food poisoning my system was all messed up, and since I was already in Europe I decided to go alone to Austria to one of the top medical health clinics in the world, @mayrlife.altaussee . I’ve been struggling with blood sugar issues (I’m pre-diabetic) and constantly low energy and honestly, since hitting my 30s I’ve felt like I needed a full reset. The focus here was all about reducing inflammation, balancing digestion, and learning how food really affects your energy and cravings. I was craving chocolate and fruit like crazy at first and definitely wasn’t used to the small portions. Detoxing wasn’t easy… I felt super tired and bloated those first few days. But then everything shifted. I’ve never been so relaxed anywhere my sleep score was 90+ every night with 15 minutes of stress or less (so rare for me). At Mayrlife they’re strict: - No snacks between meals -Meals are small, simple, and eaten slowly (chew at least 30x) - Dinner is always light + early (around 5:30–7 pm) - No extras or substitutions — you eat what the doctor prescribes. But you can ask for more if you need it (I told them I wasn’t trying to lose weight, so they doubled my protein on the 2nd day ) - Food is treated as medicine, not entertainment . Even though I went alone, I was far from lonely. I actually made some incredible new friends from all around the world and that made the experience even more special. What I learned most: healing isn’t about a quick fix. It’s about slowing down, listening to your body, and actually giving it what it needs. 👉 If you want to know more about my experience, drop your questions below I’ll answer them!
