Candle-Shaped Puff Pastry Salmon Rolls 🕯️ Make your Christmas table more festive with these candle-shaped puff pastry salmon rolls using @Decora cannoli molds.  Ingredients  •1 sheet puff pastry dough •Sesame seeds for coating  •1 cup cream cheese  •1/2 cup sour cream •Salt and pepper to taste  •1 tsp lemon zest  •2 tbsp fresh chopped chives •2 tbsp chopped shallots   •3/4 cup smoked salmon coarsely chopped Method 1.Preheat oven to 400°F.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside. 2.Roll out the puff pastry dough, and using a knife, cut squares out of the dough in various sizes to create different-sized rolls. 3.Take the cannoli molds and wrap the squares of puff pastry around them, ensuring that they adhere to the molds.  4.Brush the pastry with egg white. 5.Roll each pastry-covered cannoli mold in sesame seeds, making sure the seeds coat the surface of the pastry evenly. 5.Place the molds on a baking sheet and bake them until they are golden brown and puffed up. 6.Carefully remove the baked pastry rolls from the molds once they have cooled slightly. 7.Place the cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper, lemon zest, dill and chives in a bowl. Stir until smooth. Add the smoked salmon to the bowl and gently fold until incorporated. 8.Fill each pastry roll with the salmon filling. 9.Cut out flame shapes from red bell pepper. 10.Place the red bell pepper flame shapes on top of the filled rolls to give them a candle-like appearance. 11.Your candle-shaped puff pastry rolls with variations in size are now ready to be served. #facilecondecora

Christmas Tree Tartlets   Trimming the tree with a twist! 🎄✨ My first post for the Christmas series – Christmas Tree Tartlets! 🌟 I hope this post brings you some joy and hope. 🤗  Tart: • 2 cups pastry flour • ¼ cup icing sugar • ⅓ cups almond flour • A pinch of salt • ½ cup butter (very cold) • 1 egg Matcha meringue   Ingredients: •1/3 cup water •1 cup sugar •3 egg whites •1 tsp matcha powder or 1-3 drops of green food coloring (gel-based)  Method: Tart 1. Sift the dry ingredients together. Add the butter cubes and mix the batter (with your hands) until it reaches a sand-like texture. 2. Crack an egg and add it to the mixture. Continue mixing with your hands to form a dough. 3. Knead the tart dough with the palm of your hand for 1-2 mins until you get a smooth dough.  4.Place dough between parchment sheets and roll out dough into 2mm thickness. 5.Pop them in the freezer. Let them set. (15 min) 6. Prep eight fluted brioche molds by greasing outer sides with butter. 7. Remove dough from the freezer. Use a 10 cm cookie cutter to create 8 discs. 8. Line discs into the greased brioche molds. 9. Freeze lined molds for 1hr. 10. Preheat the oven to 160°C. 11. Bake the tarts with the topside down(20 min). Matcha meringue  1.In a saucepan, combine water and sugar, heat to 115°C without stirring. 2.While the syrup boils, whip egg whites until soft peaks at 105°C. 3.Pour the hot syrup into the whipped egg whites at 115°C. 4.Whip until meringue cools, add matcha powder or green food coloring if you’re using. 5.Fill a pastry bag with meringue and pipe onto tartlets. 6.Decorate with sugar pearls  7.Allow to come to room temperature before serving.
