Night at XIMENDING TAIPEI 🇹🇼🌃👌 You can’t walk through Ximending at night without trying the flame-grilled beef. Flame-grilled beef is one of Ximending’s most well-known street foods. The dramatic cooking process, combined with bold flavors, makes it both a visual and culinary experience—perfect for a quick family food break during an evening walk. Also a must-try snack in Ximending is the 10-yen cheese cake coin. These tiny, coin-shaped cakes are golden brown on the outside, soft and slightly sweet on the inside, and sometimes filled with a hint of melted cheese. the 10-yen cheese coin cake, many vendors in Taiwan say that the longer the cheese stretch when you pull it apart, the more good fortune or luck it brings. #FlameGrilledBeef #XimendingStreetFood #TaipeiFoodTrip #TaiwanStreetFood #FamilyTravelEats
Manichud Daha, located in the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, is a sacred lake deeply rooted in the legend of King Manichud, who was born with a divine jewel embedded in his forehead. According to mythology, during a period of severe famine and disease, the selfless king sacrificed his life by offering this jewel and in some versions, his own head to the gods to save his suffering subjects. The lake is believed to have been formed at this site of sacrifice, and local folklore maintains that the water remains miraculously clear because sacred birds pick out any fallen leaves. Today, it serves as a major pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, who visit during the festival of Janai Purnima to bathe in its healing waters and honor the king’s ultimate act of compassion. @Abhaya Subba #manichuddaha #hike #fyp #suseyyyy
