@annajcrna: Replying to @Jill Randall what was your starting staff pay? It’s fascinating to me to see the differences in union dense areas vs not union dense areas #nurse #anesthesia #nursingstudent #nursingschool #icunurse #ernurse #travelnurse #finance #crnaschool #crna
You forgot to mention mandatory patient to nurses ratios. The best in the country.

I moved from Seattle to Minneapolis for school and was offered a job at what my starting pay was in Seattle 🙃😭 cost of living is maybe 20% less at most bc of mortgage.

Boston is expensive too and the pay is bad unless you have at least 10 years plus. I think it's $72/hr for 12 years. Brih/Women and MGH both have union payscale. 20 years is $104/hr (cap pay).

Yeppp! Tell me why in the ER in a fast track area in Texas I will be 7:1 but in Los Angeles I am ALWAYS 4:1. Not to mention LA hospitals bringing me down to 2:1 or 1:1 for ICUs 🥲💗

I came to CA because of the safe ratios. I’m working in San Bernardine. ICU is perfect but when they float me to a floor, it’s insane. Coming from TX to CA, I feel the floors in Ca are worse
