☎️ When answering the phone and the person asks to speak with you, you say: “Speaking” “This is she/he” “Hello, you’ve reached [Your name]” “Hi [Your name] speaking.” ⚠️You can't say It's me! on the phone unless you expect the other person (a friend, a relative, etc.) to recognize you from your voice. I've never heard anyone say This is him! either (it sounds even odder with This is her!), but maybe some people do say it after all. "This is she/he" and "Speaking!" are much more common, in my experience. More informal: “Hey, it’s [Your name]. What’s going on?” “Hey, [Your name] speaking. What’s up?” “Hey there, this is [Your name]. How can I help you out?” “Hey, it’s [Your name].What do you need?”. #learnenglish #ingles #english #learnenglish #inglesonline
