$Abbiamo deciso di tenere accesi i semafori fino all'1:30 di notte. Nella notte fra il 24 e il 25, la pattuglia serale del reparto sicurezza ha prolungato il servizio su mia richiesta per individuare e contrastare quelli che fanno le corse in moto, altri imbecilli con le marmitte sfondate che fanno le gare fra di loro. Sono state elevate delle ammende. C'è stato un inseguimento ad una moto di uno di questi imbecilli, lanciata a tutta velocità. Il motociclista era senza casco ed è scappato, ma abbiamo individuato la targa. Procederemo, ovviamente, con le sanzioni stradali, ma soprattutto con l'attività amministrativa per sequestrare la moto. Questo lavoro contro quelli che fanno le corse notturne continuerà nelle prossime settimane. Un po' di pazienza, ci vorrà del tempo, ma vedrete che individueremo uno alla volta questi imbecilli e potremo procedere al sequestro dei mezzi, che è l'obiettivo che abbiamo dato ai nostri agenti. Sono stati elevati verbali di contestazione anche ad esercizi pubblici per emissione di musica ad alto volume (i fracassoni) e occupazioni abusive di suolo pubblico. Abbiamo fatto smontare dei gazebo che occupavano quasi l'entrata della rotonda in maniera abusiva. Dovremo poi promuovere un incontro, e ne farò richiesta al Prefetto di Salerno, con le altre forze dell'ordine per capire bene chi fa cosa. Non credo che una città possa rimanere abbandonata a se stessa di notte, ma avremo modo di parlare e di chiarire le competenze fra Polizia Municipale e Forze di Polizia Statale.$
