As a McDonald’s worker you can also just ask them to cook to order you the 10:1 meat, asking them to sub the 10:1 for 4:1 is more expensive especially when you’re just looking for freshness and not more food if you want more food then go right ahead but if you just want fresher food just asked them to cook order
