I recently transitioned from a plant-based 🌱 vegan diet to reintroducing meat 🥩 into my eating habits.  I made this choice due to the high cost of supplements (too many pills to swallow) and past gut health issues that made me hesitant to eat meat.  I initially followed a raw vegan cleanse for one and a half years, which later evolved into a diet with more cooked plant-based meals and some fish for protein. However, this wasn’t providing me with enough protein, and I started noticing unfavorable changes in my body. 😔  Despite my commitment to a healthy lifestyle, regular exercise of strength training and cardio, and balanced hormones, I still struggled to achieve my desired results, particularly in terms of body fat. I’m also a single mother and entrepreneur, which adds its own set of challenges.  My body’s craving for protein led me to discover @fuelbarhealth through my soul sista @veetheyogibunny , completely transforming my fitness journey with the support of owner and my now personal nutritionist, Melissa and with @trainwithdaltonpt, a professional fitness trainer and certified MSc in Kinesiology of the pros and cons of my bodies transition from vegan to meats.  I’ve learned that the raw vegan phase was a great body detox, and the plant-based vegan phase helped me realize the importance of properly nourishing my body with protein outside of plants, my body needed MEATS!  I invite you to follow my journey, where I’m consistently sharing my progress as I lose body fat by incorporating more protein, adjusting portion sizes, and increasing my physical activity to achieve my fitness goals, NOW!  I’m excited to announce that my journey towards a “Hot Mama Summer” has begun!  Stay tuned for updates as I work toward my fitness and health goals.
