I hear you, but what's the alternative when you need to put food on the table and provide? You can't work full time and teach your children at home,as much as I would love to not have to force my kids

I was home schooled from the age of 13 due to severe bullying. I have a decent job and don’t feel like I missed out tbh. My dad was my teacher, it bonded us in a different way 🥰

Me and my husband clash on this. School feels so unnatural to me but then my daughter has friends and enjoys it, but if that changes I'm 100% homeschooling. 🙌

Teacher here. I respect everyone’s decision to school their kid how they wish. However, home schooling is not easy & many HMSL kids end up way below the age expected level in reading, writing & maths.

We’ve been home edding for the past 8 years and love it! We’re now on our last child who has been home ed since age 5(he’s now 14),the majority has been child led learning 👌❤️

how do you afford to home school though? also what about teaching the subjects you have no real knowledge on? more so for high skl age. the thought of teaching maths, when I'm rubbish scares me.
