The path along the valley is well maintained and relatively easy to walk on, however there are occasional areas with rugged rocks, so trekking shoes are recommended.   👟If you head towards Okutama from Hatonosu Valley, you will come across Shiromaru Dam, where the impressive size and flow of the water will take your breath away.
