Islam commands husbands to live with their wives in kindness: "And live with them in kindness (ma'ruf)." (Qur'an 4:19) Respect is not just about providing food, clothes, or a home. It is also about protecting your spouse's dignity, speaking with justice, and ensuring that no one humiliates them unnecessarily. There is a difference between sincere advice and public humiliation. Islam encourages justice, wisdom, and good character—not silence in the face of wrongdoing. This series is not about creating conflict between families.
