@compass.acres: The art of a DISTRACTED gardener 👇🏼 Ok so by the time July rolls around I am up to my eyeballs in blooms (Yayy!!) but that can mean it makes me very forgetful to take care of every flower that is planted. To be honest, I don’t like growing things that dont have a will to survive bc I get distracted and I look back and think- shoot! When is the last time I watered those?! 😅 I also don’t start a lot of flowers from seeds because I am not selling flowers and I am usually just using these for table bouquets. These are the flowers that give you the most bang for you buck (and time!!) 🌿 Snapdragons – Cold-hardy, self-seeding, and bounce back after trimming. 🌞 Marigolds – Drought-tolerant, pest-resistant, and bloom all season long. 🌼 Cosmos – Thrive in poor soil, attract pollinators, and reseed effortlessly. 🌺 Zinnias – Love the heat, rarely need fertilizing, and produce endless flowers. So KNOW THYSELF just because you get distracted and forgetful doesn’t mean you can’t have fresh flowers this year! Which of these easy-growers is your favorite?
