I didn’t do this in Hawaii, actually, I did this last year, while working the Kansas State fair. But it definitely has Hawaii vibes, right lol. 😄 Anyway, here’s another case of a couple, who had absolutely no idea what to expect… And if I’m being completely honest, neither did I when they sat down lol. The theme: after we started talking for a while, I discovered that they were both into fishing, they definitely had an playful relationship with one another, and I just imagined him using her to fish 🤣. I had so much fun with this one. Playing with the water effects, the angle, Pretty much everything I actually modeled the fish on the right off one of my best friends @Robhumeart because you know, why not. Thank you guys, so much for sitting for me and bringing that awesome energy to the booth. I drew this on Valentine’s Day last year. lol. It’s almost been a full year 😅. I should start this by saying, yes I do tend to draw big asses. No, they don’t ALWAYS have those asses. And yes, this time, on this day, she definitely had said A$$ creditability! And like I said before, I Will NEVER pass up an opportunity to draw a glorious jean stuffer! If you park one of those dump trucks in front of me, I’m going to issue a citation 🤣. No one gets a free ass… I mean pass. Hmmm, ass pass. That actually works. It also helped they wanted something funny. And had seen me draw a few before she parked that Zeppelin in my chair. I’m actually impressed by the integrity of those chairs while we’re on the subject. Top quality stuff. Sidenote, the other lady, in the video you see briefly, had been showering me with compliments the entire day. and seemingly in awe of this, drawing in particular. I’m not the best at accepting compliments, but I thought I should say I appreciate her appreciation 😅 Anyway, if you couldn’t tell from the reveal, I had a blast! And clearly they enjoyed it as well. Which is a double win in my book! Thank you guys, so much for waiting in line, and having such amazing personalities! You are super awesome, and I hope I get to draw you again in the future… And not just because you’ve got a backside that could be confused with a death star. I had an absolute BLAST drawing this one! For starters they had no idea what to expect aside from the fact that it was going to be funny. And the only clues I offered them was “it’s a metaphor.” Their friends, who stood behind me, laughing the entire time… Undoubtedly made the experience a lot more interesting! On a scale of one to 10, 10 being super crazy exaggerated… I would consider this one 6 1/2 😅. Butt, it was definitely a lot of fun. And I definitely love the reaction. Seeing as it could’ve gone either way. Thank you guys, so much for sitting for me, and having such great sense of humor. I enjoyed your faces, and our conversation! This was one of my favorite drawings from last year. For a number of reasons. One, when she came up to me she wanted me to do something super funny. She told me she was a fan of my funny/exaggerated stuff and wanted me to go crazy. Instantly making my day. Two, they were insanely chill people 😂. The whole time I were drawing them it felt like a hangout. The theme: while we were waiting for the guy in the drawing to come to the booth, she told me he’d been in an accident. A car hit him while he was on his motorcycle. Amazingly he’s almost fully recovered. But at the time he was REALLY messed up. Once he’s joined the conversation we talked a little more about it and moved on to nerd stuff. But the seed was planted lol. And seeing as they wanted me mess them up. I went for it 😅 also to be clear, she didn’t hit him in the actual story lol. Just in the drawing 🤣 They loved it! Which was a relief. It would have sucked to have drawn all that, only to have them flip out and leave 🤣. But it was a good time from beginning to end and i hope I get to draw them again!
