The 54-year-old Cruel Intentions actress appeared in Queens Criminal Court on Monday, where she pleaded not guilty to two counts of second-degree Ass\*ult involving alleged encounters with a police officer and a nurse. According to the report, Blair could face up to seven years in prison if convicted on the state charges. She also faces a separate federal investigation over allegations involving two flight attendants aboard a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York. Reports claim Blair attempted to open the aircraft door while the plane was still in the air. She allegedly struck one flight attendant and bit another when crew members intervened. These allegations have not been proven in court. But her legal team has offered a different explanation for what happened. Attorney Shawn Barnes told the court that Blair had missed several doses of medication used to manage severe neurological symptoms. He also said she had been working exhausting hours before boarding and had fallen and hit her head during the flight. Her lawyer argued that these factors, combined with the altitude, caused severe confusion and disorientation. He insisted the alleged actions were not intentional. Blair was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018, and her attorneys also said she had been diagnosed with Parkinsonism. The judge set bail at $20,000 in cash or a $60,000 bond.
