Today I’m doing a farmer’s walk on my walking pad with a 25 lb Morocsoft kettlebell in one hand and a 15 lb kettlebell in the other. Why? Because life isn’t balanced. Using different weights forces my core, hips, shoulders, and nervous system to work overtime to resist leaning, twisting, or compensating. It’s one of my favorite ways to strengthen my weak side and improve overall stability. The farmer’s walk isn’t just an exercise—it’s a full-body performance upgrade. ✅ Strengthens grip strength ✅ Builds core stability ✅ Improves posture ✅ Strengthens the shoulders and upper back ✅ Increases balance and coordination ✅ Corrects left-to-right strength imbalances ✅ Improves walking mechanics and gait ✅ Strengthens hips and glutes ✅ Builds real-world functional strength ✅ Challenges the cardiovascular system ✅ Enhances body awareness and control ✅ Helps reduce injury risk by improving stability Movement is medicine, and sometimes the simplest exercises deliver the biggest results.
