This simple but effective innovation helps these bullety little birds find places to nest in new urban developments or after old buildings are renovated. Did you know that swifts spend almost their whole life in the air? They eat, sleep, and mate mid flight, only coming to land to build their nests in cavities that form in cliff edges, rocky formations, or more recently, buildings. #urbanecology #urbannature
