Please don’t pet him anywhere but the head/ neck. It’s basically bird self gratification if you pet him anywhere else. Also please visit an avian vet to get a run down on good diet and husbandry!

Take the bird to the vet for a health check. Have them teach you to trim the wings and toe nails. Have the vet put a id chip in the bird in case he gets out again. Congratulations on your new friend🦜

I’d suggest harness training him! That way he can go outside safely and not get lost again 🥰 and give him lots of toys/wood to chew, that way he doesn’t chew on your stuff
