In the viral video, Gonzalez said that if a Black person was on her 911 call the next day, they were “going to jail.” After 13 Investigates identified cases connected to Gonzalez, prosecutors discovered numerous cases they had initially missed due to a reported search error. The DA’s Office has now issued approximately 175 Brady notices—75 in pending cases and about 100 in resolved cases.
