all the comments "not my kids phone" clearly haven't stepped foot in a secondary school in the last 10 years. phones/social media is a huge problem!

a lot of schools in Denmark have been phone free for years,including my sons, its a good thing and the kids actually like it

Great idea. I just worry about the bullied kids who perhaps could benefit from being able to keep in touch with a parent. Schools sometimes aren’t the best at addressing and sorting bullying.

My teens school never allowed phones. They don't bring them in or have them powered off in bag. If you are seen with it, it's taken away and a parent must collect. Works without the bag.

Can totally understand kids needing phones in an emergency but unfortunately some won't put their phones down or put them on silent. Some also use them to bully other pupils or cheat.

More like control school.. there not babies and if they need there phones for any reason they should be able to use them .. obvs not in class but at breaks.
