@the_vintage_journal: l created this piece of ephemera... an antique inspired bag of chocolates & price tag. 🏷️ We throw around the word ephemera a lot in the journaling community, and even though I know it’s definition, I still catch myself using the word incorrectly ALL THE TIME😂 Being a history buff and an information junkie, I thought I’d post about it.😁 So what is ephemera? Pieces of ephemera are everyday items from the past originally created for short term use. They were usually made of paper, and were never intended to last or be kept. Things like receipts, coat checks, tickets, bill of sale slips, advertisements, product packaging, newspapers, ticket stubs, inventory lists, restaurant menus, flyers, ledgers, and so on.
