I'm Navajo, we aren't native to this land. We came from Asia and settled bc the ice bridge melted and didn't come back for years.Plus, most of us natives don't believe in land rites.

Native Americans had no problem with the idea of conquering other tribes…conquering only became so deeply wrong to them when they were conquered.

I mean.. I'm native and I was a teacher in an inner city public school. I taught about NA History because it's part of American history... so.. maybe he slept through it. Personally I'm more mad that the curriculum depicts us as victims and minorities more than anything else like assimilated (hey meitis) helpful, SELLERS of land, entrepreneurs, wealthy, warriors, iron walkers, veterans, etc and race baits to create more people who think like this and perpetuate the idea that we were simply conquered and destroyed and don't love the USA.

Hahaha! Honestly they’re are fortunate they didn’t get wiped out all together like many others who get conquered. Instead of just living life & doing ur best to make the most of it, many have become entitled.

I mean, we were taught the major ones, Aztecs, Mayans, Iroquois, Sioux, Inuits. Maybe not in crazy depth but we learned how they lived and their culture.
