The welfare system has created a monster. What was created as a safety net has become a hammock.People want all the same things working folks have without working for it. NOPE.

Idk why people are freaking out lol Oklahoma has had a similar policy in place for years now. If your child is 5 and over you have to work 30 hours a week to continue to get any benefits.

It’s the same with SS spousal support. When the kids reach a certain age u loose it and have to get a job. 🤷🏻♀️

I have to have a job to feed my kids and pay taxes to feed other people’s kids, but they take issue with having to work to feed their own kids, but ok with me working to feed their kids

My husband and I both work and we don’t qualify for SNAP benefits but I know a few people who don’t work and get all the benefits in the world which isn’t fair.

I lost my snap benefits once I moved in with the person I was having a child with back in 2018. I’m a stay at home mom and we’ve made it work. It’s not something I’ve ever complained about. I don’t understand why everyone is all up in arms about having to work. We feed our whole family off of one income. We don’t qualify because of his income but if we could work and still qualify that would be freaking great! I don’t see why people don’t want to work now a days🙃 it’s extra income plus you’ll still have your benefits!

I agree! Parents can work if kids are in school! I’m thankful my kids entire school gets free lunch otherwise we wouldn’t qualify.

People who don’t read the bill, just believe what social media tells them. It’s 80 hrs/month! They can also volunteer 80 hrs/month.

When Clinton did it in the 90’s welfare to work so many people got off the dole and got good jobs. Then when BO took office he said it was degrading and removed the programs. SMDH
