according to my encyclopedia, the use of the phrase "a dead corpse" is redundant. you either look dead, or you look like a corpse, but the phrase "dead corpse" makes it seem as if there were such thing as a life corpse, with, seeing as a corpse is a dead body, would be impossible to be dead and alive at the same time. hope this helps
