@swiftieinkc: Not tagging this creator because I don’t want to send them hate, and I feel like there’s a solid chance they’re trying to rage bait. But I saw quite a few well intentioned folks in that comment section asking “how would we know” etc etc TALK. Talk about ethics, world peace, religion, humanity. Men need to talk to other men. Call out jokes in the moment. Talk to each other. #manoftheyear #swifttok #feminism #greenscreenvideo #greenscreen

I guarantee he has spoken to a woman that way and just refuses to admit it to himself or anyone else.

This is why Daniel Sloss is one of my favorite people. Dark humored comedian who begged men to take a hard look at their friends. It was a serious topic and he approached it perfectly. He stood up for his friend when she went through grape and made sure it was okay with her to talk about it. I want to say it was his special Jigsaw

Not to mention all the shit we as women hide from our friends because we are embarrassed we let a man treat us like this.

i think if men are surprised by how many women have stories like this than that means they’re telling on themselves that they don’t have female friendships in their lives. so many women have gone through horrible situations like these and the men that are baffled by it clearly haven’t taken the time to learn/understand anything about what really goes on behind the scenes. i was shocked when this creator said “it could be your fault” ?!?! it’s so sad that even in 2025 so many people immediately jump to victim-blaming and making it so much harder for women to come forward.

I also have never had a man in my life text me like that. My first thought is “wow I’m very lucky” not “oh they all must be lying then”. THE ARROGANCE the think the latter?????

A lot of the abusers I’ve become aware of were “real stand up guy” “the nicest guy I know” “wouldn’t hurt a fly” … they aren’t just lurking in alleyways, they are your friends, family, lovers, leaders…

a major problem is that they don't know what "casual" misogyny is. I guarantee they/their friends say some really messed up stuff about/to women but they just... don't see that as misogyny OR don't take misogyny seriously enough to see it as a precursor to violent behavior

Never reported the man that SA’d me because he was loved by everyone and I knew no one would believe me. Even my parents tried to make excuses for him. Mind you every woman in my immediate family has experienced SA.

And also I’ve never seen anybody say this about the “woman of the year” trend even though it’s basically the same thing??? All of the videos I’ve seen are about cheating and I’ve never seen a woman say “well where did you find this one cus it might be your fault” only men protecting other men

"this could partly be your fault as well" ofc blame the woman. He's a liar and has said something horrendous to a woman who said something to him and said "it was her fault" bc she started it.
