All you do is ask them to help plan the surprise party for someone else down to the detail and than flip on them when everyone is hiding and have everyone turn to them and say surprise

Two of my friends were going to throw me a surprise party a few years ago, but then my bsf (one of the friends planning) called me to say they wanted to throw me a surprise party, but she realized I would HATE that. They still wanted to handle all the planning and details, so I got to know it was happening but also just show up. It’s still one of my favorite birthdays 😂
