You can have the Pyramids to yourself, see how below 🤩 The first time we visited the pyramids, we didn’t know this, and although it was really beautiful, the complex was packed with people. So we went back a second time after realising that you can have the pyramids to yourself. Here are the 2 ways to do it: GO EARLY: - The pyramids complex opens at 7:00am and has two entrances. One accessible by car and the other only accessible by foot (see below for exact location coordinates). The majority of tourists arrive around 8:00 to 8:30 and use the car/bus entrance. This is where all the tour guides will take you - If you want the pyramids to yourself, use the pedestrian entrance next to the Sphinx at 7:00am. GO LATE: - Enter the pyramids complex at 2:30pm, have lunch at Khufu’s and leave the restaurant at about 4:30pm (you will need a reservation to eat at Khufu’s, make it for 3:00pm). Now you can walk from the restaurant all the way down to the Sphinx and have the entire complex to yourself for 30min as almost everyone will be gone! 😉 Pedestrian entrance: 29.9755084, 31.1408470 RESTAURANTS AT THE PYRAMIDS: - 9 Pyramid lounge which is great for late breakfast. You’ll need a car to get there, it’s quite far from the main pyramids but definitely worth it. Make sure you have a reservation. - Khufu’s for late lunch and delicious Egyptian cuisine. Make sure to have a reservation here as well. BEST ACCOMMODATIONS: - Guardian guesthouse with unbeatable proximity to the Sphinx and a rooftop terrace for having breakfast looking at the pyramids. This Guesthouse is just 50m from the pedestrian entrance to the Pyramids. - Mena House for the luxury of being the closer to the Pyramids than any other hotel in the area. The hotel is literally located at the main entrance to the Pyramids. © Copyrighted content - no reposts without prior permission #pyramidsofgiza #cairoegypt #egypttravel #egypt🇪🇬 #gizapyramids
