@redchairman2: Non hateful, Educational: The Hecker Song is a revolutionary song from the Baden Revolution of 1848/1849. Friedrich Hecker attempted to rally the revolutionaries in Baden with the Heckerzug, which set out from Constance, in order to capture the capital city of Karlsruhe and subsequently overthrow the grand ducal government. After this uprising was crushed by Prussian and Hessian troops in the Battle of Scheideck on April 20, 1848, Hecker was forced to flee to Switzerland with most of the participants. He never returned to Baden but instead emigrated permanently to the United States. #mamdani #newyork #meme #leftist #eattherich #capitalism #socialism #communism #lefttok #History #leftisttiktok #socialist #communist #leftistpolitics #zohranmamdani #fyp #foryou #leftistmeme #politics #capitalismsucks
