its better animated and way more consistent while obviously less ambitious. also selling toys is also a major reason for 2008 the clone wars.

okay combat yes 2003 is better at. but literally everything else it does horrifically. characters non-existent, story non-existent, actually build relationships non-existent. yes it is better at one thing and it does that one thing incredibly well but it's not a show, it is essentially what two kids in the playground make. nothing but pure action with no care for story.

if they got the same treatment that the main clone wars series got it would've been better I like the animation better than the CGI look of the main show but we got the cg stuff instead well they got to do a lot more with the story telling so

the Clone Wars 2003 was a part of the Clone Wars Muilt-media Project, everything from CWMMP tied together and the CWMMP actually felt like a war is happening with losses on both sides

I love the ‘03 Clone Wars series, but it’s not better than the ‘08 series, the action is cool AF in the ‘03 but there’s no character development or arcs, or anything besides Samurai Jack style action because that’s all the ‘03 series was supposed to be
