I just wanted to make a little extra money. I was on maternity leave, watching my maternity pay get smaller while the cost of having a baby definitely wasn’t. I wanted more time with my daughter, but I also wanted my own extra money coming in. So I started learning Canva, creating digital products and learning how to sell them through social media. I started from a completely blank account. No audience. No business experience. No social media following. No idea what I was doing. Just my phone, Canva and a willingness to learn. I started posting simple reels like this and built my digital product side hustle around nap times, evenings and the little pockets of time I had.
