I once got a late fee for a book I absolutely had brought back, but because I had brought it back through the chute not in person they apparently didn't register it and only registered it after the next person who was taking the book out Checked it out. Never thinking that if that person was checking it out it would mean I had brought it back. Still angy about that e.e
