Trauma bonding at its worse. The slapped on one cheek and kissed on the other. Sugar then poison over and over again. It is an addiction, wanting to reach out for a fix of someone that hurt you so much. The pain you sit in is unbearable, but to stay is to repeat the torture again and again. Cold turkey is the only way. Grieve and learn to love yourself again.
