My cat left scars on my face the first year I adopted him, they would never leave my skin, but I still love him as my son. We found him down the street, he was an adult already and he was violent, skinny, hurt and traumatized. Now, 8 years later, he sleeps next to me every night, we take baths together and he's my travel partner. They're not evil nor want to hurt others, they just react to how life had treated them.

We had a dog called "rabito" Because his tail was cut and he was a bulldog (idk, he seemed like one but he was a bit tall). My uncle rescued him from the streets, he took care of him and loved him like rabito was his entire world. A little while after we rescued him, he ate an entire tub of 1kg of our cream; rabito acted so guilty that my uncle didn't said anything, he only laughed and cleaned him.

I don't know what happened to my shelter dog before we got her, but no matter what I do she still, after almost 4 years, lunges at me sometimes, and no matter how mad I get at her sometimes, I know that she's just my old baby. I love her with all my being still

me obligaron sacar a mi perro de la casa por que mordio a alguien y podian demandarnos no los culpo y menos a mi perro el sentimiento de saber que ya no es mío es aplastante y sabee que no llegare del colegio y se me sentara en las piernas para que lo sobe por horas es... un sentimiento que no se ira aunque pasen años

My senior dog, piratinha, she always bite the ankle of people who enter my house, but I never blamed her for that... she lived in the streets and probably was used as a broodmare because she's a mixe of Pitbull or dogs like that, and also she lived in a horrible place before me and my dad adopted her, she lived in a dark forest with other dogs, always leashed. I remember the day when I see her for the first time she was jumping happily and she never got out of the sun. Today she's probably near the her end, but I'm honored by giving her at least a good place to stay in her last years...
