I’m an openly queer trans person both online and irl, and I go to a school with a lot of Arab and Muslim immigrants, and I never had a negative experience with them. They habe never disrespected me for being queer or trans, and always been kind to me. A Palestinian Muslim girl helped me when I sprained my ankle rlly badly on campus to get me back to my room and even came over to give me pain meds that she bought for me to levitate the pain I was in. She was such a sweetheart. Are there homophobic and transphobic Muslims? Sure, but there is also plenty of homophobic and transphobic Christians. No religious group is a monolith. That’s something the west gotta learn about Muslims.

As a Christian, most Muslims I’ve met (almost all of them) are great people. I don’t like the religion nor do I like islamists but I’ve got Muslim friends and they’re really nice people. Shouldn’t really have to divide people by religion tbh even tho I hope that they will turn to Christ, I can’t make them only God can. Only thing I don’t like is some countries like Afghanistan that doesn’t allow Christianity.
