Rolls-Royce have known about this for a while. One generation of the Phantom was supposed to be so quiet, you could hear a pin drop on the plush carpets. But unfortunately, people were getting motion sickness. Their solution? remove some of the sound deadening.

this is the exact same thing that happened with Rolls Royce, they made the Ghost so quiet it made people car sick so they dialed down the quietness to give the passengers a sensation that you're driving/being driven.

this reminds me of when rolls royce made a car so quiet and with such good suspension that people started getting carsick so they had to deliberately remove some of the insulation
