She fell overboard. Why on earth would a cruise employee chose to kidnap or harm an American tourist who is going to be noticeablly missed within hours and put a target on his back or whoever he is working with. That’s not how trafficking works in the majority of these situations.

I think at the club Amy and Yellow planned to meet up at 6am on the upper deck. So in order to sneak back out, she felt the need to lie to Brad about feeling sick, so she could stay off of the families radar and she could keep herself awake outside, until it was about time to go meet Yellow at 6. I think Yellow would had said something to her like “nobody can know or I will be fired”. I don’t know what Amy wanted, that Yellow used to lure her there but she was probably quite naïve (given her Catholic/small town upbringing) and didn’t expect anything sinister to happen (not many people would). I also think given the fact all of Amy’s photos were already missing and Yellow’s wife had found an entire suitcase full of photos of young caucasian girls, I think he was grooming her that night because he already had a buyer waiting at this next stop. Traffikers use print photos, so theres no digital trail for investigators to follow. He obviously is part of a big syndicate and the girls that wrote this letter are very lucky, they escaped Amy’s fate. Yellow was essentially the Gislane Maxwell, of the cruise ships and I don’t know why people aren’t paying more attention to the fact he literally had a suitcase full of evidence.

Clearly the cruise line was in on it, it happens SO often! The "clients" choose their photo and take it to Yellow to obtain the victim. He's a middle man in wayyyy too deep.. I'm sure this goes to the top of the cruise line

As someone who cruises often there is absolutely no way her dad didn’t hear the cabin door open/close. That’s the only part that has me scratching my head.

hear me out: Yellow and the crew's director knows what happens. the crew's director dismissing the family is not sitting well with me. his behavior and lack of urgency is disturbing. he failed them.

YES! And I think she thought she was gonna meet him close by (like the hallway) and come back quickly (hence the no shoes and not telling anyone) then she got lured farther and farther away.

Exactly what I was thinking too. Someone had said that Yellow had tried the 6am thing with others. I think he was trying to tr@ffic for $$. She was probably taken off the ship in a suitcase or bag.

I think you’re right, it makes the most sense. If she fell they would have found her body. The boat was close to shore. But what I can’t figure out is why she left without her shoes?
