Yeah man, that's really sad. The Soviet Union sent thousands of firefighters, coal miners, and liquidators to clean up the Chernobyl disaster-knowing full well the risks. And all they gave them was a shovel.but They didn't have a choice. Most of them were just regular people, but they were treated like they were disposable. Some died within weeks... but some of their names still live on as heroes. They faced death to clean up a disaster that wasn't their fault.

my grandfather Eric B worked in a nuclear facility specifically with gama rays. one day something went wrong in the lab and he ended up absorbing a lethal dose of Gama radiation. my dad said it led to him having terrible anger problems, not to mention the massive muscle growth/height and green skin. you don't want to make him angry.
