HERCULES HIMSELF 🤤 A little context! Briar is on her way to one of those fabulous aristocratic weekend parties in the Spring Court, hence the gorgeous dress. She’s decided to take a little detour through nature, enjoying the beautiful spring scenery… until she hears someone swimming. And then THIS MAN emerges from the lake. SIR. EXCUSE ME??? 😭😂 Now, here’s the idea behind their first encounter. Briar is HUMAN, and I really wanted to play with how utterly intimidating Fae beauty (even if Tamlin is human here) would be to an ordinary human woman. Because let’s be serious. If THAT man emerged from a lake in front of me, I’d forget how to function too. 😂 So naturally, Briar gets completely mesmerised, forgets there’s an actual LAKE in front of her, and falls straight into it. 😭😂 And here’s my favourite little detail: Tamlin rescues Briar in the books, so I wanted to recreate that rescue in our alternative universe… except this time, he’s practically the reason she needs rescuing in the first place. 😂 The other girls might be a little more composed around these ridiculously beautiful males, but Briar? She’s giving us the most HUMAN reaction imaginable. And frankly, SAME, GIRL. SAME. Because if I saw this Tamlin in real life, I wouldn’t just fall into the lake. I’D FAINT 🤭
