I went to the same show in Gilford. I used to get teary-eyed seeing them live, but this time I was smiling ear to ear, singing and dancing like no one was watching. I spent my teens and 20s going to shows, but somewhere along the way, I stopped and only went here and there. I decided I need to do more of the things my teenage self loved because it made me feel like myself again. I’m going to see Alkaline Trio there in a few weeks because I had so much fun. That venue was chill, just hanging on the lawn. Lines weren’t too bad. Easy in and out. And at my ripe age of 40, those are the things I really appreciate in an experience! 😂 P.S. Random but were you wearing a Hurley shirt by chance? 😂 You kinda look like the guy in the background of a video I took during vindicated but I didn’t post it because there was also a little girl with him in the frame and I didn’t want to put a child’s face that wasn’t mine on the internet.
