I call the old colorful lights “candy light” and I hate the led colors (they’re so obnoxiously bright and way too blue). In my “vintage tree” I like to use white lights and one strand of lights that I can adjust the color to the perfect shade of pink.

I wrapped my trunk with warm white and then used incandescent color for the branches but I feel like I can see too much stark difference of white in the middle if that makes sense? I’m wondering if it will blend together better and resolve itself once I get all the ornaments on. I’m following your tutorials and trying to trust the process 😂 but also fighting the urge to start over with all white 🤦🏻‍♀️

I use an absurd amount of white (incandescent) mini lights with two strands of TruTone bulbs for a pop of color!

i do both! my warm white incandescent lights stay solid, then my incandescent colour lights do a slow fade/twinkle! so when the colours are faded out, there are brief moments where the tree is just warm white and its beautiful
