This trains your deep core muscles (like the transverse abdominis) to stabilize your spine — a skill that transfers to almost every lift and athletic movement. Variations: 1️⃣ Arms alongside the body The easiest variation. By keeping arms by your sides, you bring your weight closer to your center, making it easier to maintain form.
