Baby seems to not tolerate whole milk? Can I try 2% or lactose free or go straight to alternative milks?

What about goat milk ? Our daughter has been on goat milk formula since day one and has done very well. Our pediatrician said absolutely not because it causes micro tears in the gut and doesn’t contain as much fat and calcium as cows milk. As you said we could supplement with additional high calcium and healthy fats… interested in your opinion on this and if maybe I need to look into a new pediatrician 😑

My 21 month old is allergic to dairy, soy and peanuts. So we use pea protein for her, the brand is Ripple Kids or Silk Kids too.

That’s what I thought, for some reason I can only get 1% or skim milk on Wic I get 6 half gals of lactaid 1 or skim and then 4 gals on 1 or skim regular milk for some reason

Is there any downside to starting out lactose free? Dad is almost definitely lactose intolerant and I seem to have some sensitivity, so we only stock lactose free, but is there something to be said for introducing lactose early?

Our son loved chugging milk before bedtime until the end of June, he just was done one week and wouldnt take a bottle anymore. He only sips it in a straw cup :(

Dr, is it true that infants and toddlers up to 2 years old need to consume smaller amounts of protein? How much is the recommended for a 1 year old?
