Hey! Make sure to keep them separate, your cat can really hurt your beardie. I’d also look into a proper set up for your beardie. They need at least a 4’x2’x2’ enclosure and many other things to live a happy life

you really should add more stuff to your bearded dragons tank. they need two lights (UVB, and a white light), light misters to keep humidity around 50%, tall logs or decoration to sun bathe in, dirt substrate, hammocks, etc. this tank is not enough for a beardie.

Please be very careful cats are a huge threat to bearded dragons. They can cause serious injuries to your little bearded dragon. I recommend keeping them away from one another. Cat saliva & claws cause deadly infections to these guys. Just trying to help you out🙏🏼

You need a bigger enclosure the minimum recommended size is a 48x24x24 and it’s so dangerous keeping your cat that close to your bearded dragon it can & will end very badly.

cat saliva and the bacteria in their toes is detrimental to reptiles. one little scratch or lick and he will not be alive....

Hey so I have a few tips, some that others have suggested already but just thought I’d give some advice as someone who worked in animal care ☺️. First, the bearded dragon needs proper housing. He (or she) will grow much larger than the size they are now, and getting a tank big enough to grow into is better than sizing up every time they grow more. They need proper substate. They are a desert reptile so usually sand (can get it at petsmart or petco, just look for reptile sand) and a basking rock with a hide under it, the one you have now isn’t quite large enough to bask on but is good to keep even for just decoration. Keeping the lights on a metal mesh tank cover with their basking light over the rock so they can get closer to it if they feel cold is good. Feeding them pellets is okay but they also need live food like crickets and hornworms (occasionally as hornworms are fatty) and dusting them with calcium powder helps keep their bones strong and avoids them getting diseases. Reptiles need specially vets and those are way more expensive than a little calcium dust lol. Avoid feeding them the live food on sand because they can ingest it and become impacted which can kill them. You can put him in a little container with crickets and then remove him once he’s done eating, that’s what I did, or feed him the crickets with tongs by hand. Also, please don’t let the cat interact with him anymore to avoid both of them getting hurt. It’s a very cute video lol but they are not meant to be friends unfortunately 😅. I can give you more advice if you’d like, this is all friendly advice I promise. It can be hard learning about a new animal! Cats are so easy, reptiles nooot so much hahaha.
