Update: Caitlyn is safe with a shelter foster! If you are her foster please message me! ❤️ 🚨 Caitlyn will be euthanized Wednesday 5/14🚨 Caitlyn’s collar is killing me. She is heartworm positive and has had puppies in the past but she was definitely an owned dog because someone cared enough to put a tag on her that says “please be kind I am deaf I mean no harm” 😭. My assumption is her owners wanted people to know her barking at you is just a trait of hers because she is deaf. Shes going to need a good rescue or adopter who is experienced in navigating life with a special needs dog! •ID: #A2010784 •Intake: Stray -1 large boxer mix breed dog roaming the neighborhood going back and forth to callers property •Female •5YR •48lbs •AMER BULLDOG MIX •Heartworm positive Please be aware that all euth dogs need a hold by 1PM. If you want to help, please be proactive do not wait! If you're interested in a pet and live out of state, I encourage you to reach out to your local rescues to see if they pull from Texas shelters.
